The tiger is one of the most powerful and majestic animals in the world. With its bold orange fur covered in dark black stripes, it is instantly recognisable and truly beautiful. Tigers are fierce hunters that move through the jungle with incredible stealth, barely making a sound as they stalk their prey.
Despite their great strength, tigers are solitary creatures that prefer to live and hunt alone. They are surprisingly agile for their size, able to leap up to ten metres in a single bound and swim across wide rivers. Sadly, tigers are endangered, and there are fewer than 4,500 left in the wild. They deserve our protection so that future generations can also experience the wonder of these magnificent animals.
